Maureen Willis

Maureen is a Registered Psychotherapist. Maureen is passionate about providing an empathetic, caring, empowering and non-judgmental space where the needs of couples, individuals and their families are heard and validated.

Maureen offers a strengths based and trauma informed approach that is collaborative and supportive, helping clients navigate through challenges to build resiliency, change and personal growth. 


Maureen has experience supporting First Responders and their families, and enjoys helping couples overcome the unique challenges that come with the First Responder lifestyle.

Maureen specializes in helping couples and individuals navigate a large variety of challenges, including (but not limited to):

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Self Harm

  • Suicidal Ideation

  • Stress

  • Trauma

  • Communication difficulties

  • Relationship trauma

  • Anger Management

Maureen has certification in ASIST Suicide Prevention Training, Indigenous Cultural Competency Training and Trauma training. She uses therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems theory as well as mindfulness-based approaches.

Maureen employs a mix of therapeutic approaches in an effort to create support for each individual client. She incorporates compassion, acceptance and humour into sessions.
