Social Worker, psychotherapist

EMDRIA Certified Therapist & EMDRIA Approved Consultant

Angelique specializes in helping individuals recover from the effects of trauma. Her areas of expertise include post-traumatic stress (PTSD), Complex PTSD (CPTSD), moral injury/sanctuary trauma, operational stress injuries (OSI), and attachment/relational trauma.

Over the years, Angelique has developed a specialized practice supporting trauma-exposed professionals. She has a particular interest in working with members of Law Enforcement and Corrections, mental health professionals, public safety personnel, and leaders who support trauma-exposed teams.

Her work is grounded in attachment theory and informed by an understanding of how trauma affects the brain, body, and relationships. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is the cornerstone of her approach to helping clients heal from trauma and life's challenges.

Through your work together, you can expect to process traumatic experiences, gain insight into the patterns that have shaped your life, develop practical strategies for navigating current challenges, and build greater resilience, and well-being.

Working extensively with trauma-exposed professionals has deepened her understanding of the cumulative effects of trauma, operational stress, and the unique challenges faced by those in high-responsibility roles. Angelique is known for her direct, compassionate, and collaborative approach. She believes meaningful change occurs within a therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and honest conversation.

If you are feeling the impacts of past or present traumatic experiences, Angelique's areas of expertise may be a good fit for your needs. Schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss your goals, ask questions, and explore whether working together is the right fit.

In addition to her work with clients, Angelique provides consultation and training to clinicians and organizations seeking to deepen trauma and dissociation-informed practice.
