Neurofeedback Technician - Casual/Part-Time (Potential for full-time) (Lindsay, Ontario Location)
We are looking for a dedicated and professional individual to join our team as a Neurofeedback Technician. This role is well-suited for individuals with a background in neuroscience, psychology, or related health sciences—and we are also open to current students with a strong interest in mental health.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, open to ongoing professional development, and willing to engage in comprehensive training by our Neurofeedback Clinical Lead. As this position requires a significant investment in training, we are looking for someone interested in a long-term role within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the Neurofeedback Clinical Lead
Establish rapport and uphold standards of care with a diverse range of clients (children, youth, adults). This may include supporting with de-escalation of clients.
Prepare and orient clients to qEEG collection and neurofeedback training
Maintain established precautions for safe and hygienic use of equipment (includes cleaning and sterilizing equipment, caring for equipment and supplies and reporting any abnormalities that may need repair)
Conduct individualized qEEG assessment data for analysis and interpretation by the clinical lead
Conduct individualized neurofeedback training sessions according to clinical protocols provided by the clinical lead
Monitor and record progress and data from neurofeedback training sessions and client’s responses to sessions. Maintain client records of this data as well as verbal reports from clients
Participate in ongoing training and development
Maintain confidentiality, professional ethics and client relations
Candidate Profile:
Degree (or enrollment) in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field
BCIA certification (or willingness to obtain post-hire) preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Technologically proficient and detail-oriented
Able to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Previous experience in mental health, research, or coaching environments is an asset
Familiarity with EEG, biofeedback, or psychophysiological tools is advantageous
We’re looking for someone who can manage a flexible schedule (daytime, evening, weekend) while maintaining a high level of reliability and consistency in attendance.
Position Details:
Part-time/Casual, with the potential to expand to full-time

Compensation
$19.00-$23.00 per hour
Social Worker, Psychotherapist and/or Psychologist (Full-time, and/or part-time)
Position: EMDR THERAPIST
Are you a skilled and experienced therapist seeking an advanced clinical position to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals struggling with trauma and mental health difficulties? Do you have an interest in teaching and consulting in addition to providing clinical therapy? Trauma Resolution Centre is a group practice of skilled trauma clinicians located in Peterborough, Ontario. We are looking for a dedicated, and compassionate psychotherapist to join our team and provide trauma treatment using EMDR and other trauma resolution therapies.
Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' eligibility for EMDR therapy.
Developing personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
Providing individual EMDR therapy sessions in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines
Working with Workplace Safety Insurance Board.
Monitoring clients' progress throughout the therapy process and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Apply diverse modalities to achieve treatment outcomes.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress notes
Collaborating with other members of the therapy team to ensure coordinated care and support for clients through case conferences and consultations.
Facilitate groups/workshops.
Provide consultation/supervision to students and/or therapists in the community.
Be committed on ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other related fields.
Hold valid registration in good standing with your respective regulatory College.
Maintain professional liability insurance for the province of Ontario.
Exhibit competence in addressing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns in adults.
Possess advanced EMDR training beyond Basic Training.
Additional training in therapies such as Internal Family Systems, Flash, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, EMDR 2.0, Ego-state, attachment, cognitive therapies, motivational interviewing, hypnosis, and other trauma resolution techniques are assets.
Additional training in dissociation is considered an asset.
Work proficiently within the established policies and procedures of the Trauma Resolution Centre.
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be open to ongoing supervision and commit to ongoing professional development within the Trauma Resolution Centre.
