Experiencing trauma can leave you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself or others. Whether navigating the effects of a traumatic event, abuse, a First Responder experiencing difficulty at work, childhood experiences, or ongoing life challenges such as relationship difficulties, I am here to support you.
As an intern at the Trauma Resolution Centre, my approach is rooted in compassion, striving to create a non-judgmental, calm space where you can explore your experiences and emotions openly. I believe in resilience, and I am committed to helping you find healing at a pace that feels right for you.
I bring several years of experience, including work in residential treatment, crisis intervention, and supporting both victims of trauma and university students navigating life transitions. These experiences inform my approach, where I continue to prioritize safety, patience, empowerment, and emotional attunement.
I draw on evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT and trauma-focused strategies. With specialized training in addictions, I also understand how substance use within families can deeply impact your emotional well-being and relationships. I am here to help you navigate these complex challenges.
My areas of interest include:
Operational Stress Injuries
Working with Frist Responders
Perfectionistic tendences
Anxiety
Individuals struggling with managing emotions.
Individuals struggling with relationship challenges
Individuals with a diagnosis of a personality disorder
Addictions
In couples therapy I enjoy supporting partners to work through challenges related to past traumas or ongoing stressors to strengthen connection and communication.
Taking the first step toward healing may feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone.
