Melanie Graham

Registered SOCIAL WORKER

I am a Registered Social Worker with 18 years experience working within community mental health and academic settings.  My work is attachment‑ focused and grounded within a trauma‑informed lens.  I strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and valued.

I support adults (16+) who are navigating the following concerns:

  • PTSD, complex PTSD,

  • Mood concerns ie: anxiety, depression,

  • Attachment wounds, and relationship challenges,

  • Difficulty with emotional regulation,

  • Identity development,

  • Life transitions, and

  • Grief and experiences of loss.

My approach is empathetic, warm, collaborative, and deeply person‑centred. I believe healing happens in a relationship where you feel safe to show up as you are, without judgment or pressure. Together, we explore your story with curiosity and compassion, helping you make sense of the patterns that shape your life and build new ways of coping and connecting.

Whether we’re building practical coping skills or exploring the deeper roots of your experiences, I tailor our work to fit your needs and pace. I draw from evidence‑informed modalities including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am committed to professional growth and learning in the field of trauma, and I will be completing training in EMDR in June, 2026.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel grounded, validated, and empowered — a place where you can reconnect with your strengths, develop clarity, and move toward the life you want with greater confidence and self‑understanding.

If you’d like to connect and explore whether we might be a good fit for your therapeutic goals, please contact book a free 15‑minute consultation.

I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you!
